Collaborations
Innovation starts with collaboration.
At White House Development, we join forces with forward-thinking partners to create places that inspire, connect, and deliver results. From distinctive hotel concepts to vibrant innovation hubs: together we develop and operate projects with lasting impact.

WHD & European Hotel Capital
Future-Oriented Hotel Development
Real estate that connects, enriches, and creates value.
WHD and European Hotel Capital (EUHC) work together based on a clear vision: hotel real estate is more than bricks and returns. We believe in an integrated approach where development and operation go hand in hand. Through our unique partnership, we can step in at every stage of the process — from planning and permitting to renovation and operation. We manage every aspect related to hotels and real estate.
Where hotel real estate has traditionally been developed as a passive asset, we pursue a model where property and operations are inextricably linked. Together, we combine EUHC’s expertise in hotel investments and operations with WHD’s vision on real estate development. This results in future-proof hotel concepts where accommodation, experience, and connection are central. Hotels thus become more than just a place to sleep: they become vibrant hubs of activity, creativity, and economic interaction.
Projects in the Spotlight
Two successful examples of the WHD–EUHC partnership:
- Mama Shelter Hotel – Amsterdam
Starting from its existing function (a former warehouse), we are creating a dynamic hotspot with a creative mix of accommodation, hospitality, workspaces, and events. Mama Shelter will become a destination where guests and locals meet. The entire process — from planning and permitting to renovation and final operation — is managed through our partnership. - Motto by Hilton – Rotterdam
After a large-scale redevelopment and renovation, the 110-room Motto by Hilton on Botersloot in the heart of Rotterdam is now operated by EUHC.
Through the WHD–EUHC collaboration, we bring hotel real estate to life as a social and economic catalyst. From the drawing board, we integrate operations with design, ensuring that each hotel fits into and contributes to its surroundings. This creates places that not only accommodate guests but also redefine hospitality while supporting local talent, culture, neighborhood functions, and commerce — all with healthy returns as a result!
“Our strength? We know exactly what the modern era demands — and what works for investors.” – Joost Mees, EUHC
From Idea to Execution: Our Projects in Practice
With this partnership, WHD and EUHC demonstrate that real estate can be more than just a building. By cleverly combining development and operation, we give hotels an active role in their neighborhoods. This way, we build places that evolve alongside their surroundings, encourage encounters, and add lasting value for guests, residents, and local businesses.

WHD & Unknown Group
Real Estate as a Catalyst for Innovation and Community
Real estate that connects, develops, and creates value.
The partnership between WHD and Unknown Group is built on a shared vision: real estate is more than an investment; it is a platform where innovation, entrepreneurship, and community come together. We do not see real estate as a passive asset, but as an active driver of growth. This means that buildings do not merely provide functional spaces, but actively contribute to the development of ecosystems and economic value. We connect real estate to vibrant communities of students, startups, scale-ups, and established companies, working together to build the future.
