The former Spaarbank building on Botersloot in Rotterdam was designed by the architect J.J.P. Oud for Spaarbank Rotterdam. Oud’s commission dates back to 1942, but it took until 1957 before work on the bank building was completed. The Berlage Institute, a post-academic architecture degree programme, later moved into the building. Current Spaarbank lessees include Luzac College and Colliers International.
The building has a total floor area of approximately 4,000 m², spread across four storeys. White House Development handles the complex’s technical, commercial and financial management on behalf of its owner.
